Acts of vandalism in Kazan

On the night of August 1, in Kazan, four graves at the Arsk cemetery and houses on the streets of Karl Marx and Bolshaya Krasnaya (a hostel of Kazan State Technological University named after Tupolev) were painted with swastikas by unknown people.

According to the police, the vandals did not choose what to paint on - swastikas were applied to everything that the vandals came across.

Eyewitnesses say that there were two vandals - young people 17-19 years old.

Currently, no criminal case has been opened - an investigation is underway. However, the police intend to initiate a criminal case under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
