Another murder in St. Petersburg

On the night of July 30-31 in St. Petersburg on the street. Shcherbakov, Yakov Pak, a citizen of Uzbekistan, an ethnic Korean, was killed.

His body, with multiple stab wounds, was found in his car around 2 am on 31 July.

There are witnesses who saw two young (about twenty) people getting out of the car. It is possible that the attackers were captured by security cameras located at a nearby school.

The investigation considers a robbery to be the main version of the attack, but a swastika is drawn on the windshield of the car (it was clearly visible in the report prepared by NTV).

Recall that a year earlier, a similar murder (multiple stab wounds, a corpse in a car, a painted swastika) was committed in the Leningrad Region, and initially the existence of a racial motive was denied by the investigation, and the swastika, according to law enforcement agencies, was intended to confuse the investigation. However, then it turned out that one of the city's skinhead groups was involved in the murder.

In addition, it is noteworthy that the murder was committed on the eve of the guilty verdict in the case of the murder of Timur Kacharava, and St. Petersburg neo-Nazis have repeatedly attacked precisely on the eve of such court hearings.
