The murderers of Timur Kacharava have been sentenced

The direct killer Alexander Shabalin was sentenced to 12 years in prison to be served in a strict regime correctional colony.

Moskovkin was sentenced to 3 years in prison in a penal colony, Panasov and Golovlev - to 2 years.

Three others received suspended sentences. Kushakov and Semyonov received 3 years probation with a probationary period of 3 years, Efremov received 2 years probation with a probationary period of 3 years.

When passing the verdict, the court took into account the fact that 4 of the defendants actively cooperated with the investigation, as well as the minority of three of the attackers.

The lawyer for the victims, Olga Tseytlina, said that she would not appeal the verdict, as she did not see the point in it. She also noted the behavior of the defendants at the trial: "They clearly felt like heroes, radiated bravado, painted the dock with swastikas. And none of them expressed remorse in their last word, at least regret about what happened. "

The defense of A. Shabalin and A. Moskovkin announced their intention to appeal the verdict.
