A nationalist rally took place in Moscow

On September 3, 2007, a nationalist rally dedicated to the anniversary of the events inKondopoga was held in Moscow on Bolotnaya Square. In total, about 150 people gathered at the event (according to other sources, 300), speaking under the slogans “Russia is a Russian land”, “Russians, forward” and chanting “Kondopoga is a hero city!” . The rally was organized by the Movement Against Illegal Immigration (DPNI).

The action lasted about an hour. The meeting was opened by the coordinator of the Moscow regional branch of the DPNI Vladimir Ermolaev. During the event, a representative of the "People's Union" Dmitry Zubov spoke to the audience, who stated that in three days Kondopoga "managed to cleanse itself of all the black scum" and chanted "Who are we? Russians! Glory to the victory, glory to the Heroes!" .

State Duma deputies Nikolai Kuryanovich and Andrei Savelyev also spoke at the rally.

The action ended with a march to the Tretyakovskaya metro station.

At the beginning of the rally, police officers confiscated newspapers and black balloons with DPNI symbols from DPNI members.
