Ataman of the All-Great Don Army Viktor Vodolatsky signed an order to include the Law of God in the number of subjects required for study in cadet corps and Cossack vocational schools in the Rostov region. As Patriarchia.ru reports with reference to the Rostov State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, “in many Cossack educational institutions, students have long been introduced to the history and culture of Orthodoxy, but these lessons were optional. Now cadets will have to prepare for exams on the “Law of God.” According to teachers, studying the foundations of Orthodox culture develops the best human qualities of students and enriches their inner world. The program of the course "Law of God" has been approved by the Ministry of Education."
