The 1st Interregional Youth Festival of National Cultures was held in the Stavropol Territory

On September 19-20, 2007 in the city of Georgievsk (Stavropol Territory) the I Interregional Youth Festival of National Cultures was held, dedicated to the problems of preventing interethnic conflicts among the youth.

The participants of the event adopted a resolution in which they called on the youth of "various diasporas and communities to unite their efforts to strengthen friendship and tolerance in the Stavropol Territory."

The festival was held by the city administration with the support of the city branch of the Stavropol Youth Union and was held under the motto "Under the sign of peace, friendship and kindness."

As part of the festival, an exhibition of national farmsteads was opened. About 10 autonomies of the region presented their programs. Artistic groups of the Stavropol diasporas showed their numbers in the concert program "Relay of Friendship".
