A representative of the Russian delegation again spoke out against the presence of the RCFS at the OSCE meeting

On September 24, 2007, speaking at the OSCE Meeting, Deputy Head of the Russian delegation A. Nikiforov called for the Russian-Chechen Friendship Society (RCFS) not to be allowed to participate in the meeting.

"Unfortunately, there are still cases when organizers accredit public associations liquidated by decision of the national courts of the OSCE participating States in connection with incitement to extremist and terrorist activities. A good example of this is the registration at the Meeting of the so-called NGO "Russian-Chechen friendship." In continuation of our repeated demarches, we are forced to emphasize once again that if this NGO is present at OSCE events, we will be forced to consider the issue of the format and modalities of our participation in such meetings," the diplomat said .
