Pre-election split in the Organizing Committee of the Russian March

On October 25, 2007, State Duma deputy Nikolai Kuryanovich issued a statement in which he expressed his disagreement with the position of the majority of members of the Organizing Committee of the Russian March, and its leader A. Belov, whom Kuryanovich, perhaps for the first time, publicly called "Potkin".

The organizing committee, which received official permission to hold the march on November 4 that day, refused to hold it under the auspices of the People's Union (NS) party of Sergei Baburin ( whose list includes Kuryanovich), considering that the NS is using the march as its own election campaign. agitation.

N. Kuryanovich announced his withdrawal from the Organizing Committee of the St. Sergius Union of the Russian people , which he represented there, as well as from the supreme council of the "Slavic Union" (since the "SS" supported the position of the majority).

Currently, the organizing committee of the march officially includes the DPNI, the NDPR, the Union of the Russian People (M. Nazarova), the Slavic Union, the Rus MANPADS, the Russian National Bolshevik Front (RNBF) and the NPF "Pamyat". It should be noted that, in addition to the RNC Osipov-Simonovich-Kuryanovich, the organizing committee does not currently include the RONS (almost all of whose assets are also included in the lists of the "People's Union"), although back in March 2007 he was officially listed in the coalition and in In September, Baburin's transfer to the Organizing Committee was not reported. However, RONS has not yet made any statements about this (there is information about the unofficial refusal of RONS to participate in organizational events (but not in the march itself) in St. Petersburg). Also noteworthy is the presence in the organizing committee of MANPADS "Rus" - collaborating with the National Socialist Society and the "Tesak"-Martsinkevich group, which, in turn, are in direct conflict with the DPNI and the SS.

Recall that in 2006, on the eve of the March, there was also a split . Then four dwarf Orthodox fundamentalist organizations came out of it and held an alternative rally on Slavyanskaya Square. However, the official split did not prevent then either the official organizer of the Russian March, S. Baburin, or the same Kuryanovich, from taking part in both rallies.
