Imam Said Bayburin charged

Arrested Ufa imam Said Baiburin has been charged. The indictment, dated October 15, 2007, signed by acting Prosecutor of the Republic of Bashkortostan I.N. Kuksa. According to IslamNews.ru , "the imam is accused of committing a crime under part 1 of article 280 ("Public calls for extremist activities." - Ed.) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
