November 2, 2007 at about 23:00 on the street. Parkhomenko, a group of black-clad youths aged 15 to 18 attacked a 22-year-old Indian citizen, a student at the Volgograd Medical Academy.
The attackers, shouting "Russia for the Russians", beat the foreign student and stabbed him in the chest.
With a superficial stab wound to the chest and bruises, the victim was taken to the 25th clinical hospital. Fortunately, he did not receive life-threatening injuries.
The student from India was not robbed.
It was not possible to detain the attackers in hot pursuit. According to law enforcement officials, several people, allegedly related to skinheads, were detained during the " Russian March" in Volgograd. However, their involvement in the attack was not confirmed.
