Racist incident in the Kirov region

On November 13, 2007, a racist incident took place in the police department for the Uninsky district of the Kirov region.

A drunken visitor entered the building of the local police department, and, seeing that one of the police officers had a non-Slavic appearance, he began to insult him, calling him "narrow-eyed", "stupid non-Russian", etc. At the same time, the insults were accompanied by obscene language and gestures designed to additionally emphasize that the insults related precisely to the person's appearance (for example, he narrowed his eyes with his hands, etc.). The object of insults was an investigator of the Kumensky Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee under the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation for the Kirov Region.

It is not clear whether this incident in itself would have become a reason for initiating a criminal case, but a few months later, in August 2008, the same person, a local businessman V. Mikryukov, got drunk again, was arrested for violating traffic rules and started a fight during the arrest with police officers.
