On November 27, 2007, the working group on information disputes of the Central Election Commission considered three identical complaints about the material in the SPS newspaper "Problem No. 1" and sent them to the prosecutor's office for examination.
Complaints were received from ordinary residents of the Samara, Orenburg and Ulyanovsk regions. In their opinion, one of the materials of the newspaper (the circulation of which was confiscated) contains extremist accusations.
We are talking about an article in which the author talks about a letter to Putin, written by pensioners of Novouralsk, offended by the low increase in pensions, in which the latter call what is happening in the country with the word "genocide." According to the complainants, the accusation of genocide is extremism.
It should be noted that the period when the party can be removed from the elections has already expired on Monday, November 26, but if the Union of Right Forces is indeed found guilty of distributing extremist materials, it may be issued a warning about the inadmissibility of extremist activities. In the event of a repeated warning, the party may be recognized by the court as extremist and banned.
