The case of the Tver racist

On October 3, 2007, the Tver Regional Court issued a decision to extend the detention period for Dmitry Orlov, accused under Part 1 of Art. 282-1 (creation of an extremist community), part 1 of Art. 210 (creation of a criminal community), paras. "a, f, h, l" part 2 of Art. 105 (murder of two or more persons committed by a group of persons by prior agreement, committed out of mercenary motives, committed out of motives of national hatred), Part 2 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery committed by a group of persons by prior agreement).

Judging by the articles of the Criminal Code presented to D. Orlov, it can be assumed with a high degree of certainty that this is the leader of the Tver organization RNU, 6 members of which were detained in October 2006 on charges of vandalism in cemeteries.

Recall that the leader of the group, detained among them, was suspected of committing racist murders and attacks on citizens. Unfortunately, we do not know for which particular episodes under Art. 105 of the Criminal Code, D. Orlov is involved.

On December 5, the cassation of the person arrested against the decision of the regional court will be considered by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
