Far-right fights without rules

In 2006, Vyacheslav Datsik (Red Tarzan), world champion in MMA, Vyacheslav Datsik (Red Tarzan), was detained for a series of robbery attacks on mobile phone stores in St. Petersburg and the region. This detention, as well as the course of the investigation, was widely covered in the press, since the group of raiders, led by Datsik, acted extremely boldly. However, only in one of the episodes of the “Duty Unit” on the Rossiya TV channel, operational footage was shown, in which the detainee Datsik says that when choosing the next object for the raid, he was guided by racist motives (he chose only those salons that, in his opinion , belonged to "non-Russians").

Prior to this, the topic of connection between "fighters without rules", including titled ones, with the ultra-right environment was practically not raised.

In April 2007, Vladimir Putin visited the fights without rules that took place in St. Petersburg (in which the brothers Fedor and Alexander Emelianenko and Roman Zentsov participated) - a report about this was broadcast on almost all television channels and print media, creating a kind of "fashion" for this sport and attracting attention of journalists to champion mixfighters. In particular, in October 2007, one of the plots of the program "A Week with Marianna Maksimovskaya" was dedicated to Russian fighters - the Emelianenko brothers. On December 1, another story was shown there, a significant part of which was devoted to advertising Alexander Emelianenko.

Meanwhile, since the fall of 2007, far-right and neo-Nazi groups have begun to openly advertise their ties to mixfighters. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the Battle of Champions match was scheduled for November 30 in Moscow, at which the presence of V. Putin was again expected. On December 1, the RTR channel reported that Putin had indeed attended the match.

In October, a video was posted on the Internet in which the younger Emelianenko, Alexander, was shot together with the leader of the Slavic Union, Dmitry Demushkin. At the same time, he sends greetings on behalf of the SS. In November, another video appeared in which A. Emelianenko was filmed with Demushkin and other SS activists.

A few days before that, a photo report was posted on the LiveJournal of NSO/Format18 activists about another participant in the fights without rules - Roman Zentsov, who held a master class at the training base of neo-Nazis.

And at the end of November, information appeared that the elder brother of Emelianenko, Fedor, the world champion not only in MMA, but also in combat sambo, is associated with the ultra-right, and that a poster with his autograph allegedly hangs at the RONS headquarters - "To RONS comrades-in-arms from F. Emelianenko" - this poster can be seen in one of the nationalist videos posted on the Internet.
