Fight at the concert "The King and the Clown"

On November 23, 2007, in St. Petersburg, at the Yubileiny Sports Palace, at a concert of the punk band Korol i Shut, Nazi skinheads attacked the concertgoers. One person, 21-year-old Aleksey Kovrizhkin, died.

By the beginning of the concert, a group of aggressive teenagers entered the hall, "who behaved defiantly - molested girls, insulted fans of the King and the Jester, burned pyrotechnics." One of the teenagers threw a lit flare towards the stage, which first hit the musician's leg, and then into the wings. A fire started, which was quickly extinguished.

Then the teenagers with the scarves of the football club "Zenith" started a fight. According to preliminary data, about 20 people took part in it, including at least 7 Nazi skinheads. The fight was stopped by security officers of the Yubileiny Palace of Culture.

Several victims, fans of the group, were hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Mariinsky hospital with craniocerebral injuries. After a week in a coma, Alexei Kovrizhkin died without regaining consciousness.

After his death on November 30, the police called the victim's girlfriend to testify. The rest of the friends of the deceased, the police did not interrogate and did not look for. The "Korol i Shut" group sent a request to the security service of the "Yubileiny" Palace of Culture and the internal affairs bodies with a demand to investigate what happened and punish those responsible.
