A citizen of Kyrgyzstan was killed in St. Petersburg

On January 12 (according to other sources, January 13), 2008, a 22-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan, Kanybek Zhusukov, who worked part-time at construction sites, was killed in the Pushkinsky district of St. Petersburg.

The body of the deceased with multiple stab wounds was found in a forest belt, 300 meters from the Podbelsky highway. According to the press service of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee under the Prosecutor General's Office for St. Petersburg, "the young man's throat was cut, he was stabbed six times in the back, after which five linear stripes in the form of a five-pointed star were cut out on his chest . "

The Investigative Department of the Pushkinsky District initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 105 (murder) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. According to investigators, the crime "may have motives of a nationalistic nature . " Currently, this criminal case has been transferred for further investigation to the Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigation Department under the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg.

On February 2 and 3, 2008, five young people were arrested on suspicion of murder. It is reported that among them were a 19-year-old administrator of the Bukvoed store, a 17-year-old young man who does not study anywhere, two 15-year-old students of vocational school N8 and a 14-year-old ninth-grader.

According to the investigation, the ritual murder was simulated to disguise the robbery.
