The Muslim Spiritual Board of Karelia and the Temporary Detention Center for Minors signed a cooperation agreement
A cooperation agreement was signed between the Center for temporary detention of juvenile offenders under the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Karelia and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the republic.
The agreement provides for conversations, lectures on the fundamentals of Islam, joint participation of the parties in the preparation of holidays, and the provision of charitable assistance.
The agreement is valid until the end of 2008 with subsequent prolongation.
