On January 23, 2008, in Moscow, on Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street, 5 teenagers aged 12 to 18 years old unreasonably attacked a 20-year-old native of Armenia, MADI student Vladimir Karamzhyan (Karmadzhyan), who was seeing off his friend.
One of the attackers stabbed V. Karamzhyan in the heart area. The victim was taken to the 50th City Clinical Hospital in critical condition. He died on the operating table.
The attackers fled the scene and measures are being taken to detain them. The media report that “the motives of racial hostility in law enforcement agencies are not yet spoken about, but the style of the attack indicates this.” V. Karamzhyan was not robbed. A criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder committed by a group of persons).
