Four teenagers suspected of murdering a foreign citizen were detained in Yekaterinburg

In January 2008, four young people were detained in Yekaterinburg, suspected of the brutal murder of M. Radzhaboev, a citizen of Uzbekistan.

All the suspects are minors: a student of school N 104, a student of an assembly college, a student of USTU, and their 17-year-old friend.

Adolescents were charged under paragraph "g" part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder committed by a group of persons by prior agreement or by an organized group). The detainees confessed to the murder. The investigation finds out the motives of the crime.

On February 6, 2008, it became known that due to the complexity of the investigation and the resonance of the case, the materials of the criminal case were withdrawn from the production of the Verkh-Isetsky division of the Investigative Committee and transferred to the city investigation department.

2009, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation upheld On March 30 , the verdict of the Sverdlovsk Regional Court under paragraph "l" of Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to Vladimir M., who inflicted fatal blows with a knife on a citizen of Uzbekistan. The criminal case against the remaining 3 attackers was separated into a separate proceeding and was subsequently terminated due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for bringing them to criminal liability.
