A teenager was killed in Voronezh

On March 6, 2008, at about 7:30 in Voronezh, on the shore of a reservoir near a residential building on Leninsky Prospect, the body of a 15-year-old resident of the Levoberezhny district, Andrei Zubkov, was discovered.

“The victim had dark skin and pronounced Asian features,” the prosecutor’s office said.

Later it became known that the teenager asked to be included in the RNS. (This information was later refuted). The attackers, “who felt hatred and enmity towards representatives of other races and nationalities,” began to beat him with their feet, shod in hard shoes. When the teenager stopped showing signs of life, the two assailants stabbed him with knives. The boy died from his injuries.

There were multiple injuries on the body of the deceased, including at least 14 stab wounds in the head, neck, and chest.

A criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder). The suspects were detained . On March 18, 2008, they were charged with murder motivated by national hatred. In November 2009,a verdict was reached in the case. On May 11, 2010, the Supreme Court upheld the verdict passed by the Voronezh Regional Court.
