Meanwhile, the question of who the box called "ballot box" is for has not been studied at all. N. Khrushchev in his memoirs slightly touched on the topic. The narrow-minded Poles, he testifies, could not understand the structure of this instrument of socialist democracy. “What is this box? they wondered. From July to December 2007 (from the moment of the last check of the electoral lists before the elections to the State Duma) 1,661,000 voters were added in Russia. Whereas the miserable Rosstat assures that the population has decreased by 478 thousand people over the year. Most of the people who die here are people of voting age. This means that in 2007 alone, the magic box provided an increase in the adult population by more than two million.
Too much? No problem, we'll fix it. Just on the second of March, there is another presidential election. Here the population curve went down sharply. In Moscow alone, compared with December, the number of voters decreased by 174,000. In terms of the year - minus 0.7 million. More than Rosstat expects for the whole of Russia. But there is still St. Petersburg, where there is a record in general: in three months the list of voters has decreased by 386 thousand. If in a year - down with one and a half million! And then there is the Krasnodar Territory, where the list loss was 216 thousand. Well, multiply by four yourself to get the annual rate of depopulation in our main breadbasket.
What kind of pestilence is in Rus'? Let's open the stupid box. It will immediately catch your eye that it is St. Petersburg and the Krasnodar Territory that are the leaders in terms of turnout growth between December and March. The first added 16.7%, the second - 22.6%. Yes, and Moscow right there, side by side.
What for? And then, that in the Duma elections, mandates among regional groups were distributed in proportion to the absolute number of votes collected by the party. The extra 174,000 voters for Moscow are two additional seats in the Duma. And other regions are fools, or what? No, not fools. Hence the population explosion in December. In March, the absolute number of voters did not touch anyone. He touched the percentage of turnout - as a sign of popular love. So, the opposite is true: the fewer voters on the list, the better the percentage of activity, given a fixed number of those who came to vote.
That's the whole casket demography: a million or two pluses, a million or two minuses, we are no strangers ... The question remains: who, in fact, is a fool. Or the electoral administration, which hopes that we will swallow these Stakhanov elections, as we once swallowed the five-year plan in three years. Is it still those who still believe that Russia is getting up from its knees and in unison supports the course of the party and government.
