Three city residents were arrested in St. Petersburg for attacking foreigners

In early April 2008, a St. Petersburg court arrested Viktor Popov, 27, Dmitry Tkachuk, 21, and Olesya Korovyakova, 23, who attacked foreign students on April 1. Soon the investigation will charge them.

Recall that the criminal case was initiated by the Investigation Department for the Nevsky District under the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg under paragraph "a" part 2 of article 282, part 3 of article 30, part 1 of art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity on the grounds of race, nationality with the use of violence, attempted robbery).
