In Ufa, a court found two Islamic publications extremist

The prosecutor's office of the Leninsky district of Ufa conducted an inspection of compliance with the legislation on combating extremist activity and terrorism. In the course of the check, the Al-Waiy magazine for April 2007, which contained the Hizb-ut-Tahrir material, was confiscated from one resident of Ufa.

During the same check, another Ufa resident had a leaflet "Obligation to rally in order to return the Caliphate" was confiscated.

The prosecutor's office applied to the court with statements to recognize the confiscated materials as extremist. The court granted these applications.

On April 8, the decision to recognize as extremist the magazine "Al-Wai" and the leaflet "Obligation to unite in order to return the Caliphate" came into force.
