Believers of the ROAC ask the governor of the Vladimir region to intervene in the situation with the seizure of churches

to the Governor of the Vladimir Region, Nikolai Vinogradov, On March 24, believers of the Russian Orthodox Autonomous Church (ROAC) sent an appeal in connection with an attempt by the Federal Property Management Agency to seize churches belonging to the ROAC into state ownership.

“We ask you, Nikolai Vladimirovich, to delve into the situation and, in order not to create tension in Suzdal and the region, and not to increase distrust in the authorities, not to kindle a new conflict over the infringement of the religious rights of citizens in the Vladimir region, to suggest that the Vladimir Territorial Directorate of the Federal Property Management Agency withdraw lawsuits against Suzdal diocese of the ROAC," the text says.
