In early April, a crucifix located near the Vvedensky Church was desecrated in Penza. The attackers tore the shrine to pieces. "Apparently, the vandals wanted to rip off the image of Jesus Christ, but they failed to do this - the nails were driven in too hard, " Russkaya Line reports .
