On April 14, 2008, in the Republic of Altai, the decision of the Ongudaysky District Court on the recognition of the brochure "Thoughts of an average man or what is happening in the Republic of Altai ?!" extremist.
Recall that at the end of 2007 the same court delivered a guilty verdict under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity) against Oleg Yzhikov and Lazar Aildashev, who in the summer of 2006 distributed this and other leaflets.
The brochure was recognized as extremist based on the findings of a forensic linguistic examination. According to its results, the text of the leaflet is aimed "to humiliate dignity, to incite hatred and enmity towards individuals on the basis of their belonging to a social group of Buddhists, clergymen (lamas)" and "Turkic peoples" .
