Neo-Nazi protests in St. Petersburg

On the night of April 20, in St. Petersburg, at the Leninsky Prospekt railway station, the police found a 2 by 1.5 meter flag hanging on a wire stretch over the roadway with the image of a Nazi swastika. On suspicion of a crime, a 17-year-old student of the 1st year of St. Petersburg GMTU and an 11-grader were detained.

In the evening of the same day, on the roof of house 5 on Efimov Street, a red flag 4 by 3 meters with a swastika in a white circle was found caught on a television antenna. The cloth was attached to 30 interconnected balloons. The Ministry of Emergency Situations detachment removed the banner from the building.

According to data that has not yet been confirmed, police detained two young people at the Jewish cemetery in the Nevsky District, who were seized knives and nationalist paraphernalia. The detainees are from Voronezh and Arkhangelsk.
