Teenagers who drew swastikas were detained in Miass

In April 2008, two teenagers were detained, suspected of drawing swastikas on the monument to Lenin and on residential buildings in Miass (Chelyabinsk region).

Neo-Nazi graffiti began appearing in the city as early as January. Soon the city prosecutor's office opened a criminal case under Art. 214 (vandalism) and detained two suspects - 17 and 16 years old.

The teenagers not only immediately confessed, but also said that they applied graffiti not only on the monument to Lenin and the wall of one of the shops in the city, but also on residential buildings in the southern district of the city.

The investigation into this case has not yet been completed.
