A criminal case has been opened in Veliky Novgorod for Nazi propaganda on the Internet

On March 22, 2008, a criminal case was initiated in Veliky Novgorod under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred) for posting neo-Nazi files on the Internet.

The files were found on the Internet during operational-search activities and contained ideas of hatred towards Africans, people from the Caucasus and Central Asia, gypsies, Jews, calls for riots and reprisals against representatives of certain racial and ethnic groups. The investigation established that these files were placed on the Internet from the IP addresses of Veliky Novgorod.

In May 2008, searches were carried out in the apartments of the suspects and computer system units, the book "The Bloody Romantic of Nazism", CDs and DVDs were seized.
