Searches at the Phalanster store

On May 5, 2008, at the initiative of the prosecutor's office of the Northern District of Moscow, a search was carried out in the humanities bookstore "Phalanster".

Finding neither the defunct newspaper "Limonka" nor other publications of the banned NBP there, employees of the Organized Crime Department confiscated hard drives from computers, paralyzing the store's operation.

The search was preceded by an interrogation of Boris Kupriyanov, one of the founders of the Phalanster project, in the prosecutor's office, during which the investigator, showing some paper, according to Kupriyanov, "a hundred years ago", tried to prove that the store sponsored the banned party.
