In the Nizhny Novgorod region, with the participation of the diocese, a children's military-patriotic camp was created

The Ministry of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the regional border department of the FSB and the Nizhny Novgorod diocese organized the Orthodox military-patriotic tent camp "Main Frontier" for children and adolescents from 8 to 16 years old.

The camp will be located near the Ababkovsky Convent. Children will be taught the skills of extreme tourism (making a fire, cooking, orienteering), hand-to-hand combat techniques, the basics of tactics and border service. In addition, catechism conversations, reading of the Gospel and hagiographic literature will be held with the camp participants. Those who wish will be able to participate in worship.
