An anti-fascist picket took place in Moscow

On June 22, 2008, an anti-fascist picket took place in Novopushkinsky Square in Moscow.

One of the topics of the picket was a protest against monuments to the Nazis, and especially against the fact that in Moscow, near the Sokol metro station and near the Church of All Saints, a memorial plate with the names of Nazi criminals Krasnov and Shkuro was installed.

The participants were holding posters "The criminal is not only the one who incites religious, racial, ethnic hatred, but also the one who approves of him", "Death to fascism!" "The monument in Moscow to the fascist executioners Krasnov and Shkuro is a disgrace to Russia", "Down with the monument to the Nazi henchmen Krasnov and Shkuro", "Monuments to the Nazis in the Baltic States, Ukraine, Moscow. We must stop this madness!" .

The picket was attended by ten people from the activists of the Anti-Fascist Union and the support group of the newspaper Anti-Fascist, representatives of the Left Socialist Action, the anti-war movement.

At the picket, a resolution was adopted demanding that the names of Nazi criminals be removed from the memorial plate near the Church of All Saints in Moscow, as well as "not to allow the erection of monuments to Nazis in the future . " The resolution will be sent to the Moscow City Duma and the Prefecture.
