The Russian Orthodox Church called on the authorities for the “speedy and fair return of church property”

The Bishops' Council declared the need for "the speedy and fair return of church property, primarily churches and shrines, as well as those buildings and land plots that are required for the revival of the charitable, social, educational, educational, scientific, cultural activities of the Russian Orthodox Church."

The participants of the council urged the authorities to adopt a relevant law, "in the wording agreed with the leadership of the largest religious communities."
