Attack on a cemetery in Yaroslavl

On the night of June 27, 2008 in Yaroslavl, at the Leontievsky cemetery, unknown people destroyed about 40 grave monuments. "Everyone was kicked, some of the monuments were broken right down the middle, others uprooted." The statue at one of the graves was damaged.

Visitors to the cemetery reported that the statue featured a fascist swastika and satanic symbols.

The investigation believes that such a number of destructions "was made by more than one person."
