In Omsk, an entrepreneur was brought to administrative responsibility for selling extremist films

At the end of June 2008, the Magistrate's Court of the Kirov Administrative District of Omsk considered the decision to initiate proceedings on an administrative offense under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (production and distribution of extremist materials) in relation to an individual entrepreneur.

The decision to initiate proceedings was issued by the acting prosecutor of the city based on the results of an audit conducted in May 2008, which revealed that the entrepreneur was selling DVDs and CDs in a sales outlet selling DVDs and CDs DVDs with the film "The Eternal Jew", recognized by the court as extremist and included in the federal list extremist materials .

The court brought the entrepreneur to administrative responsibility and imposed a fine of 2,000 rubles on him.
