In Samara, a case under Art. 280

On July 29, 2008, in Samara, an indictment was approved in a criminal case against Mikhail Bozhenov and Vladimir Ignatiev under Part 1 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for extremist activities).

The investigation found that Bozhenov and Ignatiev in April 2007 applied paint from aerosol cans to the buildings of the Promyshlenny and Sovetsky districts with inscriptions calling for violence against representatives of the Caucasian and Central Asian nationalities.

The criminal case was sent for consideration to the Magistrate's Court of the Soviet District of the city.
