In the village of Eastern Krasnodar Territory, police detained three children aged 8 and 9, who damaged nine monuments at the local cemetery, four of which were completely destroyed and cannot be restored, Interfax reports . At the police station, the children explained that they were playing war.
"According to eyewitnesses, the children jumped on the graves, climbed on top of the monuments, cut off the stones of the tops of tombstones and crosses, threw broken tablets at each other," the press service of the regional police department said.
The initiator of this incident was one of the boys. In February, in the company of his friend, he tore off 18 tombstones from the graves of veterans of the Great Patriotic War at the local cemetery.
