About 2 billion rubles will be allocated from the Moscow budget for the restoration of the Church of St. Clement on Pyatnitskaya Street, reports Portal-Credo.ru . “But this money may not be enough for all of this, so we ourselves are raising funds to rebuild the temple. We will buy church utensils, candlesticks, and chandeliers with our own money,” said the rector of the church, Archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church MP Leonid Kalinin.

Let us recall that until recently the premises of the temple were occupied by the exchange and reserve fund of the Russian State Library, which stored over one and a half million volumes. The building was transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church MP in June .
