African student beaten in Moscow

On September 9, 2008, a 19-year-old native of one of the African countries, a student of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) was severely beaten in Moscow.

The victim, "an Arab who came to study in Moscow from Africa," was taken to the hospital. Botkin with a closed craniocerebral injury and a fracture of the bones of the face.

As it was established, a student of the Faculty of Philology was beaten on Miklukho-Maklay Street, where he wanted to have lunch in a Japanese cafe. The victim lives on the same street. An investigation is underway.
