On September 16, 2008, in Veliky Novgorod, Sergey Larionov, the head of the Novgorod DPNI, was convicted in the case of posting a video with a double nationalist murder on the Internet .

Larionov was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity) and sentenced to 170 hours of compulsory corrective labor.
