Ingushetiya is no longer .Ru

On September 25, 2008, the Regional Center for Domain Registration, based on the decision of the Kuntsevo District Court to terminate the activities of the Ingushetia.ru website, confirmed by the decision of the Moscow City Court of June 12, 2008, deprived this site of the .Ru domain name, thereby ceasing its existence.

However, the site did not stop operating, receiving a new name Ingushetia.Org.

According to lawyer Pliev, representing the interests of the site, the Regional Center for Domain Registration did not have the right to deprive Ingushetia.ru of the domain name, since B “the center was not involved in the case, and any duty or responsibility was not assigned to it by the court decision.”

Let us recall that the owner of the site, Magomed Evloev, was killed in Ingushetia on August 31, 2008, and the editor-in-chief Roza Malsagova asked for political asylum in France.
