It was decided to create a center for protection against “totalitarian sects” under the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chuvashia.

On October 2, a meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chuvash Republic was held. The meeting was offsite and took place in the building of an Orthodox theological school. Issues related to the activities of unregistered religious groups and missionary organizations on the territory of the republic were considered.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to create a center for protection from "totalitarian sects" under the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chuvashia.
