On October 7, 2008, it became known that in the summer of 2008, along with the brochure "Russian National Union. Ideology. Actions. Figures and Facts. Program. Charter", two more materials were banned - a collection of articles published by RONS "If there is no water in the tap .. 666, or occupying power" (Moscow, 2006, 64 pp.), and a brochure, the author of which is the monk Athanasius (who lives on Athos) "Give us the Motherland, or the Station - Baku (without suitcases)" (Moscow, 2005 .). Like the brochure with the statutory documents of the RONS, these materials were seized during the criminal case against Alexander Chernovolov .
The court's decision was based on the conclusion of a psychological and linguistic examination. Made at the Center for Special Equipment of the Institute of Criminalistics of the FSB of Russia. According to experts, the books "contain statements aimed at inciting hatred and enmity towards a group of people on the basis of nationality" .
Recall that the decision to recognize the materials as extremist was made at the end of July 2008 by the Industrial District Court of Stavropol, and entered into force in August 2008, after it was unsuccessfully appealed to the Judicial Collegium for Civil Cases of the Stavropol Regional Court.
Right-wing radical activists claim that after the court decision on the ban, the brochure of the monk Athanasius was distributed in Stavropol with a circulation of 2.5 thousand copies, and no action was taken by the law enforcement agencies of the city.
