A verdict was passed in Veliky Novgorod in the case of posting neo-Nazi materials on the Internet

On October 28, 2008, the Novgorod City Court passed a sentence on a resident of the regional center who posted folders with neo-Nazi propaganda materials on the server of OOO Novgorod-Deytakom.

Aleksey Afanasiev was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting national hatred). The court sentenced him to 60 hours of corrective labor. At the trial, the accused fully admitted his guilt and repented of his deed. The investigation of the criminal case was conducted by employees of the Novgorod prosecutor's office.
