A sentence for posting nationalist materials on the Internet came into force in Barnaul

October 30, 2008 The verdict of the Industrial District Court of Barnaul under Part 1 of Article 282 (incitement of national hatred), Article 319 (public insult of a government official in connection with the performance of his official duties) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in relation to Alexander Trebushchuk, who posted in materials with nationalistic content on the Internet. A resident of Barnaul was sentenced to 1 year in prison to be served in a penal colony.

In September-November 2006, the young man created an Internet resource on which he posted texts and stories that “are a means of inciting national and religious hatred and enmity, and also created text and graphic information that insulted the honor and dignity of the President of the Russian Federation.” (In particular, the site posted an image of Vladimir Putin in “Nazi skinhead clothes”).

During the investigation, it turned out that the accused was previously a member of the Russian Nation movement. In December 2006, he traveled to Novosibirsk to participate in a DPNI rally, for which he was detained by the police. During a search carried out in the apartment where the convict lived, “nationalist paraphernalia, birch bark with the image of a fascist swastika, the newspaper “Limonka”” were discovered... In addition, disks with photographs of the accused training in hand-to-hand combat in the forest were seized , along with with my skinhead friends."
