On November 13, 2008, in St. Petersburg was held an annual picket in memory of Timur Kacharava, who died on November 13, 2005.
No more than 20 people stood at the picket at the same time. In total, about 100 people took part in the action, who laid flowers at the place of the murder and lit candles. The participants handed out leaflets with a list of anti-fascists killed since the murder of T. Kacharava. People came to the picket from different cities - Moscow, Angarsk, Izhevsk.
Several police cars and a truck with riot police were on duty at the event. The event was coordinated with the city administration.
In Voronezh , anti-fascists, on an administrative building near Koltsovsky Square, hung out a 4-meter poster with the slogan "But Pasaran" and handed out leaflets to passers-by with photographs of anti-fascist students killed by the Nazis.
