At the end of November, a representative of the ROC MP addressed the parishioners of the Old Believer church in the village of Aleshino, Moscow Region, and stated that this building was registered as the property of the ROC. The Old Believers are invited to take out their property and vacate the premises within a week, Samara Old Believer reports . Documents for the transfer of the temple to the ROC community were signed by the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow Region.
Church parishioners report that in 2007 the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow Region submitted a demand to the community, according to which the Old Believers had to issue a security contract for the church building, if the community "assumes its further use."
In August 2008, the patron of the temple, Fr. Alexey Mikheev applied to the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow Region with an application for a security contract for the building. Documents were not completed by the due date.
