A representative of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation reported on the facts of recruitment of students of Islamic universities by foreign intelligence services

Alexei Grishin, chief adviser to the Russian President's Office for Domestic Policy, member of the board of the Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education, speaking at a conference on theological education in Moscow on December 2, said that "foreign special services are actively working inside Russian Islam." In particular, six attempts have recently been made to recruit students from Islamic universities in Russia by foreign special services. Several students ended up being expelled.
