Explosion near Prazhskaya metro station in Moscow

On December 20, 2009, an explosion occurred in Moscow near the main entrance to the fair, located near the Prazhskaya metro station. The day before, two unknown people left a plastic bag with explosives with a capacity of about 50 grams. in TNT equivalent under a table in one of the pavilions.

A total of 13 people were injured, 10 were hospitalized. Most of the victims suffered burns, barotraumas and hematomas. Women predominate among the victims.

Identikit photos of the men who left the package at the scene of the incident were compiled. Based on the fact of the explosion, the investigative unit of the investigation department at the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Southern Administrative District opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism). All versions are checked.

At the beginning of June 2010, the case against the suspects in the crime was sent to court.
