The President of Ingushetia talked with the residents of the republic in "Putin's format"

On Monday, President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov on Monday for more than an hour on the air of local television answered questions from residents of the republic. The head of the republic was addressed to questions of various topics: from socio-political and criminogenic to refugee problems. In total, about a thousand inhabitants called on TV, ITAR-TASS reports.

Recall that the people’s communication in the “direct line” on television has successfully practiced in recent years Vladimir Putin - both as the president of the country and in the prime minister’s chair.

Evkurov said that measures are taken in the republic aimed at stabilizing the situation and solving existing problems. He noted that he had previously visited two temporary towns where refugees from Chechnya and North Ossetia live, and after which measures were taken to prepare towns for winter, ITAR-TASS reports.

“I will give an order to bring other temporary towns to the proper condition. We will pronounce the issues of arranging refugees from Chechnya, who decided to stay in Ingushetia,” the head of the republic said.

Evkurov noted that he faces the task of returning to the places of permanent residence of refugees-Ingush from North Ossetia, who expressed the desire to return to their homeland. He expressed the belief that "in the near future, with the help of the federal center and the leadership of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, we will solve this issue, be sure that refugees will return to their homes and will live as they lived before."

The president also said that the main task is the fight against corruption. “I won’t let anyone steal budget money. If we achieve the fact that budget money is not stinging, we ourselves will be surprised by the end of 2009 to those changes that will occur in various sectors,” he emphasized.

Evkurov said that on January 30, it is planned to hold a congress of the people of Ingushetia, where the situation in the republic and issues of the implementation of the Law on Local Self -government will be discussed. The head of Ingushetia paid special attention to the fight against crime and continuing attempts on law enforcement officials.
